My name is Karen Eloke Young, I am from Delta State, Nigeria. i am a writer, entreprenuer and editor.

HouseofmaliQ-What is fashion in your own opinion?

 Fashion is art. fashion is life; like air, i cannot do without it.

HouseofmaliQ-signature style?

 I love solid, neutral colours, black is my favorite colour. My style is understated elegance, it never screams "look at me". I'm all about silhouettes and structure. And if anyone ever saw me in yellow or pink they'd be very surprised.

House of maliq- 3words to describe you as a style guru?

Eccentric. Elegant. Theatrical.

 HouseofmlaiQ- being classy and sexy is?

Being classy and sexy is being sophisticated and chic; not too over the top, not too drab, there has to be a fine balance.

Houseofmaliq-?Shoes- heels are important why?

"What is in a shoe?" I hear this question a lot. Heels are important, it gives you confidence, it puts a certain sexiness in your walk.

HouseofmaliQ-In your own opinion everywoman should own a?

Every woman should own the classic "little black dress". This is very important.

 HouseofmaliQ-How do you maintain your superb look?

Exercise, healthy diet, lots of water and vegetables, and regular spa sessions.

HouseofmaliQ-What would you never be cought wearing?

A 'wife-beater', i find it very trashy.

 HouseofmaliQ- what color look best on you and why?

Black. it is classy, understated it and goes with everything.

HouseofmaliQ-Among the designer in the world,what design would you never be tired of

 I love valentino and alexander McQueen pieces, they are timeless.

HouseofmaliQ-Should women shop for what is trendy or what works for them?

Most women make the mistake of going for trendy fashion as opposed to what suits their body type, I think women should definitely go for what works for them.

Houseofmaliq-What are your favourite fashion accessories?

I love quirky belts, chunky jewelry and pearls.

 Whoever you are, whatever you are, remember that your body is beautiful and so are you.
